ABOUT PEYTON
Peyton currently serves Refuge for Women as the Executive Assistant. Her passion for serving trafficked and sexually exploited women began in 2013 while doing mission work in the red light district in Ethiopia.
Peyton joined the Refuge for Women team in 2020 at the North Texas location as a Direct Care Associate. She then served as the Assistant Program Director in the Long-Term Program house prior to her transition to the Central team. Peyton is passionate about this work and believes that God has called her to further the mission of hope and healing for women who have experienced this exploitative reality.
Peyton resides in the small town of Bridgeport, Texas with her English bulldog, Otis. She currently attends Crossroads Church in Decatur, Texas. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her close family and friends, exploring new coffee shops, doing anything outside, and crossfitting!
A NOTE FROM PEYTON
One of the greatest honors of my life is getting to be part of the mission of Refuge for Women. Every day, I witness stories of resilience, transformation, and deep healing, and I am continually reminded that true restoration is possible. What we do here is not easy, but it matters. We walk with women as they reclaim their dignity, rediscover their worth, and build lives full of hope. I love this mission because it is not just about offering a safe place. It is about walking alongside each woman with compassion, accountability, and the belief that she is worth fighting for. Being part of this work is more than a job to me. It is a calling.
