Refuge for Women Kentucky Awarded Gold Certification

Refuge for Women is the first program in the nation to be awarded a Gold level of certification from the national Safe House Certification, provided by Safe House Project. Refuge for Women is a Kentucky based residential program providing therapeutic and restorative services to survivors of trafficking through the program’s three phase continuum of care.

Meet Our New Executive Director - Deanna Lynn

She was the first Refuge for Women graduate to complete the one year program. This was back when there was one sweet house with 8 beds for exploited and trafficked women on a farm in KY. Since graduating the program in 2012, she has earned a Master’s Degree from Asbury Theological Seminary and has been a speaker for Fight the New Drug, National Center on Sexual Exploitation, National Trafficking Sheltered Alliance and various podcasts ranging from theology to trauma and trafficking…
