Guest Speaker – Ria Story

Guest Speaker Ria StoryRia Story is a speaker in national anti-trafficking efforts, a TEDx Speaker and author of 14 books, including The Ladder of Influence, and Fearfully and Wonderfully Me. Meeting her you would never know she was forced to play the role of her father’s wife and trafficked to other men from 12-19 years old. Ria learned to be resilient, not only surviving, but thriving. She worked her way through college, earning her MBA with a cumulative 4.0 GPA, and had a successful career in the corporate world of administrative healthcare.

Ria shares across the nation and has led from stage multiple times at John Maxwell’s international leadership events. Her powerful leadership principles and tools of transformation from her own journey equip and empower others, helping them increase influence, develop leadership, and maximize results.

We are excited to have Ria this year to represent both the beautiful change in how we do ministry here in Lexington as well as the real change that we are helping to happen in people’s lives. This year our focus has been to move beyond hope and breaking free into what’s actually possible. Ria inspires others to become anything starting from anywhere so join us for an evening inspiring us to go out and lead the CHANGE in our Lexington community.

Every person will get a free copy of her book “CHANGE HAPPENS”: Leading Yourself and Others through Change
